This pre-conference workshop will include a guided tour of curated collections displayed at both the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library and Grant’s Anatomy Museum. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the exhibit collections, while invited presenters will speak to the materials and methods used to produce anatomical visualizations of the respective era. Presented works include, but are not limited to, those from Andreas Vesalius, Govard Bidloo, Henry Gray, John Charles Boileau Grant, Dorothy Chubb, Nancy Joy, David Less Bassett and Daniel John Cunningham. Transportation is not provided. The University of Toronto is only 1.4 miles away and attendees can walk, take public transportation or Uber.
