BENTLEY A. KRAUSE, PhD, AT is a Professor of Instruction at OHIO University in Athens, OH. He instructs anatomical dissection, anatomy and physiology, neuroscience, and neuroanatomy courses in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences (HSLS), Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, and Biological Sciences. His scholarship of teaching and learning focuses on outcomes of the anatomy of language, learning, and memory, team-based learning in human gross and neuroanatomy and student engagement in anatomy using technology and digital applications. Currently, Dr. Krause and his teaching assistants and HSLS majors has engaged undergraduate and graduate students in learning the anatomy of American Sign Language.
Dr. Krause has presented scholarship of teaching and learning human anatomy at ASHA, FASEB, NATA, APTA-CSM and published over 25 papers in various index journal outlets.
