I earned by PhD at LSU Health Sciences Center in microbiology and immunology, researching early T lymphocyte development. I did a postdoctoral fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis in immunology with a focus on antigen presentation. I love teaching and I have become increasingly involved in education with undergraduates, graduate students, and medical students. I primarly teach immunology, histology, and cell biology. I am alwas interested in finding better ways to teach. I am new to the realm of educational research and scholarship and I seek to develop research projects in education.
