Amanda Henderson is currently a first-year medical student at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Prior to her medical studies, she completed bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience at Loyola University Chicago. During gap year, Amanda served as a clinical research coordinator for the department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Beyond her academic pursuits, Amanda is an accomplished French horn player and holds membership in the Detroit Medical Orchestra. Her decision to pursue medicine is fueled by her aspiration to make a positive impact in the field, driven by an unwavering commitment to excellence and a profound appreciation for anatomy education.
