Lorena Maili received her PhD in Human and Molecular Genetics at MD Anderson UT Health Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 2021. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Stowers Institute, where she is investigating the consequences of disrupting ribosome biogenesis on development and growth during embryonic and postnatal stages.
