Eman Faisal attended the University of Toronto starting in September of 2017 and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with a specialization in forensic anthropology in April of 2021. After graduation, she took a gap year and worked for the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service for a year, assisting in autopsy and post-mortem examination management where she gained knowledge in anatomy and forensic pathology. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in forensic anthropology at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in April of this year. Her current research focus is on establishing machine learning protocols for forensic anthropological assessments using 3D CT scans. Eman is currently a teaching assistant for numerous biological and forensic anthropology courses at the Department of Evolutionary and Forensic Anthropology. She recently accepted her offer letter to begin her PhD at the University of Toronto in 2024, furthering her research in machine learning applications in forensic anthropology.
