I'm an Anatomist with research interest in Neurobiology, Stem cell and regeneration process my animal model is the zebrafish. Starting my laboratory this year since recently became faculty. I look foward to extend my network in basic science research and educational research.
I did my Ph.D in Anatomy at University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus ( School of Medicine). My thesis was elucidating the effect of retinoic acid and macrophages population in axonal regeneration of Rana pipens.
My postdocoral research was looking for chemical compunds that could improve the engraftment of Hematopoietic Stem Cells and Progenitors after transplantation. Which is the project that I will be preent March 23 at 5pm.
