I am pursuing a PhD in Anatomy and Cell Biology with specialization in Developmental Biology at The University of Western Ontario. Under the guidance of Dr. Katherine Willmore, I am studying the role of the Shh signaling pathway in PAE-related disrupted ear development and hearing loss in a mouse model, particularly through investigation of the pharyngeal arches and otocyst during embryonic development, and the ossicles, cochlea, and hearing function during postnatal life.
