My name is Grant Boxey, and I am a PhD Candidate of Anatomical Education through Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. I currently present lectures in Medical Gross Anatomy, Medical Histology, Medical Neuroanatomy, and Embryology. In this position, I have been fortunate enough to teach a variety of disciplines including students in medical, physician assistant, masters of science, undergraduate, and high school programs. Laboratory experiences include full dissection and prosection-based teaching. My dissertation study is titled, "Targeting Student Outcomes Through Implementation of Laboratory Experiences in a First Year Medical Neuroanatomy Course" and data collection begins Spring 2024.
I graduated with my Masters of Science in Anatomical Sciences degree through Lincoln Memorial University in Spring 2020. I am also a 2016 graduate of Michigan State University - Lyman Briggs College with a B.S. in Neuroscience.
It is my goal to educate students through disciplines in anatomy, study the ever-evolving field of medicine, and support students through the diversity of healthcare careers. With my experience in multiple health systems, rural to urban centers, I have solidified my desire to pursue a career in serving others and use my skills within science education to teach the future providers of tomorrow.
