Jerusalem Wogayehu is a dedicated third-year medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from George Mason University, with a minor in Computer and Data Science. Jerusalem is actively involved in student advocacy as a member of the Class Council and the Student Medical Education Committee, where she passionately represents her peers in discussions regarding curriculum changes and improvements.
As a Population Health Scholar, Jerusalem had the opportunity to conduct summer research with the Georgetown Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Clinic. Her research focused on disparities in MS and health advocacy, and she presented her findings at the ACTRIMS (Americas Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis) conference. Jerusalem's dedication to neurology research continues as she pursues further research in neurology and MS, aiming to contribute significantly to these fields while continuing her medical education to become a well-rounded physician.
