Annie Wang is a third-year undergraduate chemistry major at the University of Chicago, who hopes to pursue a career in medicine. She is interested in craniofacial and developmental biology and conducts research with Dr. Russell Reid and Dr. Callum Ross at the University of Chicago. Her current work focuses on the mechanism of mandibular distraction osteogenesis in treating Pierre Robin Sequence, with a particular attention to the role of the hyoid in mediating airway volume and tongue morphology.
