Student Physical Therapist

My name is Stefanie McBeth and I am currently a 2nd year graduate student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at University of Maryland: Eastern Shore. I attended undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland College Park and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. My past research experience includes my undergraduate thesis on 'Joint Loading and Walking Among Populations at Risk for Osteoarthritis: Women and African Americans.' I am also currently involved in graduate research on 'Physical Therapy Assistant Education and Curriculum on Pelvic Health.' In addition, I am a Teaching Assistant for the Physical Therapy Department at UMES and have loved being a part of the learning experiences of other graduate students like myself. This is my first time attending an AAA conference and I am so excited to network and continue to grow as a professional.
