Tom currently studies Graduate Entry Medicine at Warwick Medical School. Coming from a background as an Architect, he has a keen interest in how the Arts and Humanities can inform Medical Education and Clinical Practice, in particular Game-Based Learning and drawing as a methodology to learn and consolidate. Tom completed a Bachelors, Masters and Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture, gradating as an ARB registered Architect in 2020. He previously specialised in designing adaptations for people’s homes, and is an advocate for inclusive practice, which has included the creation and implementation of Sighted Guiding Teaching within the MBChB Year 1 Curriculum. His principal academic interests include Medical Andragogy, Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Anaesthesia, wherein he currently holds society and peer-peer teaching roles.
