Aloha everyone! My name is Jamie McDermott and I am a second-year osteopathic medical student from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. My current research focuses on the comparison of tactile sensation in humans and rhesus macaques. I am originally from the island of Kauai, Hawaii and am pursuing my dreams of being a diverse and competent physician. My current interests range from neurosurgery to psychiatry. While I'm not tangled up in school work I love to play around with my cats, watch a good anime, or explore the rest of the mainland.
