Clinical Assistant Professor
Lebanon Valley College
Dr. Andrew Milosz was born in Poland, where he received his education degrees in teaching and biomechanical engineering. He continued his studies at McMaster University in Canada and Arcadia University in Philadelphia, where he received his Bachelor of Health Sciences and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees, respectively. Dr. Milosz’s 20+ years of clinical experience involves a variety of settings, including orthopedic outpatient and acute rehab. Dr. Milosz later found his passion for teaching and became an assistant professor at Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Pennsylvania, where he has been working full-time for the last eight years. At LVC, he has been teaching anatomy at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including cadaver dissections, for students across different health-science majors. Dr. Milosz’s approach to teaching focuses on combining his extensive clinical experience with his bio-mechanical background to explain complex anatomical concepts using highly engaging and easy-to-understand graphics that he has developed for his students. Dr. Milosz and a group of his students from LVC have been developing a manual for the last three years that consists of various unique visuals that depict the functioning of the musculoskeletal, nervous, and cardiovascular systems. Once published, the manual will be available as an open educational resource for students taking anatomy-related courses at various academic levels. A poster depicting some of the visuals from the manual is currently on display at the American Association for Anatomy Conference in Toronto.
