Samantha is a second-year Pathologists’ Assistant MHSc candidate at the University of Toronto. Her academic journey includes the attainment of a Master of Science in Forensic Science from Trent University and an Honours Bachelor of Forensic Science with a specialization in molecular biology and biochemistry from the University of Windsor. As a student currently enrolled in the third cohort of the University of Toronto MHSc program, Samantha is deeply committed to elevating the Pathologists’ Assistant curriculum within the institution and aspires to influence similar programs nationwide. Focusing on the intricate domain of human embryology, Samantha collaborates closely with her preceptors to illuminate this often undervalued topic, recognizing its profound implications for healthcare practice.
