Dr. Samantha Payne is an Assistant Professor at the University of Guelph, Canada. Dr. Payne’s lab focuses on the interactions between peripheral nerves and other cell types important in the process of wound healing and regeneration. Her work aims to bridge in vitro systems with in vivo models of regeneration, combining her expertise in biomedical engineering and neurobiology to understand the cellular and molecular underpinnings of regeneration.
