Carleton University
I am an Associate Professor and program advisor (Vertebrate Paleontology & Paleoecology) in the Department of Earth Sciences, Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. My research aims to understand patterns and processes of morphological evolution in tetrapods, with focus on early amphibians and amniotes. Paleontological research targets the Carboniferous localities in Atlantic Canada, combined with investigations of historical museum specimens. In the lab, we use model species axolotl and Xenopus to test hypotheses of developmental evolution.
