Slicer is an open-source platform poised to revolutionize the anatomical sciences much as other open-source platforms (e.g., R) have revolutionized the fields of statistics and scientific computing. Within the Slicer ecosystem, the SlicerMorph extension streamlines digital morphology by enabling data import, visualization, measurement, annotation, and geometric morphometric analysis on 3D data, including volumetric (CT, MRI) and surface scans. Workshop attendees will learn how to incorporate open-source digital anatomy tools into their research, teaching, and outreach and will leave with resources for further learning and community participation. We recommend that participants bring their own laptop.
