Dr. Denninger is a board-certified clinical specialist in pediatrics and faculty at Bowling Green State University in the hybrid, accelerated DPT program. She is an educational researcher passionate about reflection, clinical reasoning, and inclusive entry-level DPT learning environments. Before teaching, she practiced full-time in the pediatric acute care setting specializing in neonatal intensive care, infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome, and medically complex children with acute and chronic conditions. She began teaching entry-level DPT students in 2016, teaching pediatrics, lifespan development, and evidence-based practice. Dr. Denninger has presented at state and national conferences. Her professional degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, both from Sacred Heart University. She is currently working towards a Doctorate of Education with a concentration in Higher Educational Leadership.
