Cayla Gilliland is a second year medical student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. She attended the University of Alabama from 2017-2022 where she received a B.S. in Psychology, an M.S. in Population Health Sciences, and an M.S. in Rural Community Health. Her current research interests include anatomy education, 3D printing, and the use of ultrasound in rural medicine.
