Medical Student
San Juan Bautista Escuela De Medicina, Puerto Rico
My name is Manuel Garcia and I am a second-year med student with a big love for understanding how our bodies work, especially when it comes to the brain. Ever since I can remember, I've been totally fascinated by the brain and nervous system – how they control everything we do and feel.
My journey into the world of neurosurgery has been quite the adventure. From spending time in the anatomy lab, dissecting cadavers, to diving into the latest research on brain disorders, I've been very interested in surgery. But it's not just about books and labs for me. I've also had the incredible opportunity to shadow some top-notch neurosurgeons in action. Seeing the real deal in the clinic and operating room has only fueled my passion further.
I'm all about making a real impact in people's lives. Whether it's mastering tricky surgical techniques or staying on top of the latest breakthroughs in neurosurgery, I'm up for the challenge. My goal? To use my skills and knowledge to make a difference for patients facing neurological issues. Im excieted to finish medical school and see where my passion for nuerosurgery takes me.
