Niket Sampalli is a fourth-year Bachelor of Health Sciences (Hons.) student at McMaster University, and a student researcher for the Education Program in Anatomy. His research interests include anatomy education—particulary the implementation of technologies, such as Virtual Reality (VR), in tools developed for anatomy knowledge acquisiton and application of functional movement in clinical scenarios. His current research focuses on the effectiveness and user experience of immersive VR as a learning tool compared to other commonly used learning modalities such as 3D models and videos.
