Clinical Anatomy MSc Candidate
University of Western Ontario, Canada
My name is Meaghan Frank, I am a master's candidate in Clinical Anatomy and the University of Western Ontario, Canada. In my graduate program, I spent a significant amount of time learning and teaching cadaveric anatomy. Regarding research, I conduct my work within the Vulnerable Brain Lab at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. My research aims to characterize pathological features of ALSP, which is a rare, fatal neurodegenerative disease that causes adult-onset dementia. I utilize histology and MRI imaging to investigate potential pathological features of this devastating, underresearched neurodegenerative disease.
I love anatomy and anatomy education, but I am also very passionate about my research! Day to day, I seek to integrate anatomy into my neurodegenerative research. I look forward to meeting everyone at this conference!
