Medical Student
Sam Houston State University COM
Thank you for taking the time to view my research. My name is Kathryn Thomas. I am a second year medical student at Sam Houson College of Osteopathic Medicine (SHSU-COM). Before medical school, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. At Baylor, I was a supplemental instructor for Organic Chemistry II. This year, I have served SUSU-COM as a tutor in OMM, Anatomy, Skin and Skeltal Muscle, Hematology, Microbiology and Immunology and through my role as an Anatomy Teaching Assistant. Thoughout all of my education, I have desired to help other students understand difficult foundational concepts. Now, those concepts are anatomical! I hope you are inspired by what the team at SHSU-COM and I have found regarding teaching style, novel dissection and student understanding of cranial nerve anatomy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at kbt013@shsu.edu or stop by my poster.
Warmly,
Kathryn Thomas
