Doctoral Graduate Student
University of Florida
I am currently a second-year PhD student studying Anatomical Sciences Education at the University of Florida. My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, followed by a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in 2020. Prior to my pursuit of higher edcuation, I practiced as licensed occupational therapist in an outpatient pediatric setting. My decision to return to the education setting was driven by my passion to create meaningful connections between anatomy and clinical practice. In addition to my pedagolocial goals, I am interested in conducting qualitative research within the anatomical sciences. Through rigorous exploration, I aspire to gather instructor and student perspectives on a range of topics, including remediation, self-regulated learning, and metacognition.
