Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Griffin Lewallen currently sits in the 2025 Doctor of Physical Therapy cohort at the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He diligently works towards graduation and furthering his knowledge of Physical Therapy with his sights set on proper practice beyond graduation. He graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in December of 2021. Exercise Science was not his first career plan and spent a year of undergraduate time majoring in software development before making the switch. His interest in the body blossomed out of nine years of competitive soccer whose conclusion was the result of two ACL reconstructive surgeries. During his recovery, he developed a strong interest in video games that led him to develop therapeutic interests in hand and postural therapies. Independent of an activating event, he’s also interested in the pediatric specialization and hopes to be able to practice in these areas in the future.
