Megan Thurber is a second-year student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. She began her curriculum at PCOM in June of 2022 and will graduate in May 2025. She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate education, where she received her bachelor of science degree. Megan majored in biomedical sciences with a concentration in pre-physical therapy and minored in psychology. She graduated from Auburn in May of 2021.
Between May 2021 and June 2022, Megan worked as a physical therapy technician in the physical therapy department at Huntsville Hospital in Alabama. During this time, she experienced the world of inpatient healthcare for physical therapy and the many challenges and physical limitations that require physical therapy treatment. She plans to work at an inpatient rehabilitation facility after graduation. Her interests in physical therapy reside in geriatrics and women's pelvic health.
