Lisa C. Ikemoto (she/her/hers,) Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor, University of California, Davis School of Law. Ikemoto's research focuses on the use and formation of markets in human tissue, reproductive and genetic technologies; reproductive justice; and health care disparities. She uses critical race and feminist theory to examine the ways that structural ineqalities shape biomedical knowledge and technology. At UC Davis, she has served on the Human Anatomical Specimens and Tissue Oversight Committee and the Advisory Committee for the Body Donation Program. University affiliations: Aoki Center for Race and Nation Studies, Center for Health Policy Research, Feminist Research Institute, Health System Bioethics Program, and the Religious Studies Department.
