Stefan Geyer is Associate Professor at the Medical University of Vienna, offering about 20 years of experience in imaging. After finishing his PhD-thesis in medical sciences on 3D imaging methods for visualizing vertebrate embryos he worked as a PostDoc at the National Institute for Medical Research, London, UK. He is currently expert for developmental morphology and imaging, specialized in „High Resolution Episcopic Microscopy“ (HREM) at the Centre for Anatomy and Cell Biology (Medical University of Vienna) and heads the HREM Imaging Lab at the Division of Anatomy and the Technology Unit HREM of the Correlated Multimodal Imaging Node Austria (CMI). His research focus rests on cardiovascular morphogenesis and the development of multimodal imaging pipelines.
